Brant Lipscomb Jr., MD, Recognized with Interfaith Service of Excellence Award
Brant Lipscomb Jr., MD, was recently recognized with the Interfaith of The Woodlands’ Service of Excellence Award for Health. The chief of staff at St. Luke’s Lakeside Hospital was one of five honored for beneficial contributions to the community through volunteerism.
“Dr. Lipscomb strives to create programs which bring the highest quality healthcare to our community, whether through high school athletics or hospital services,” said Debra F. Sukin, CEO, St. Luke’s Lakeside Hospital and St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital and Senior Vice President, St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System. “With a constant focus on the individuals he serves, Dr. Lipscomb is making a difference in The Woodlands every day.”
Dr. Lipscomb received the award for his passion for healthcare by volunteering at local schools. Dr. Lipscomb serves as the team physician for The Woodlands High School football team and leads “Physical Night,” an evening during which a group of doctors provide physicals to student athletes. He also is involved with South Country Football League, The Woodlands Christian Academy, Oak Ridge High School and The Woodlands High School Lacrosse Club.
