Our second parking garage was completed on March 1 and features six floors with 780 additional parking spaces, which complements the first 400-space garage that was built last summer—for a total of 1,180 spaces.
Progress continues on the Medical Arts Center III (MACIII). The four-story, 100,000 square-foot medical office building is being built LEED certified, which translates to a state-of-the-art “green” building that is environmentally friendly and energy efficient. Set to open this fall, MACIII will serve as the home for a new Wound Care Clinic that will offer advanced hyperbaric chambers for patient treatments.
The West Tower’s fourth floor build-out to add 30 medical/surgical patient beds for single room occupancy is slated for completion early this summer. Two additional floors will be shelled-out for future use to make the West Tower a six-story building by 2014.
The main entrance is being increased to three lanes to improve visibility and flow for patients and guests visiting the campus. In addition to these renovations, construction on a cut-through from the 400 car parking garage to the exit has already begun.
