Cooking with Heart

Please join Texas Heart® Institute at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital for Cooking with Heart on Thursday, February 10 from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Central Market.  The girls’ night out focuses on heart healthy cooking just in time for Valentine’s Day. The Central Market chef will demonstrate how to prepare a delectable dinner including:  

  • Spinach and Strawberry Salad with Honey Mustard Vinaigrette
  • Jewel Roasted Vegetables
  • Herbed Quinoa
  • Pesto Crusted Salmon
  • Espresso Cake with Raspberry Sauce

    Also, Dr. Roberta Bogaev, cardiologist with Texas Heart® Institute, and Rita Zapien, registered dietitian with St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital will be on hand to discuss heart health tips, warning signs of cardiovascular disease and the importance of exercise and a balanced diet.
